I have no idea what this is

I'm really sorry, but until I reached this line-"Oswego could make only 2 of its 13 field goals" did I have any idea what sport this was. There are other countries outside of the USA and I am going to guess this is American Football, but to only be able to work that out in the last few lines of a story is appalling. I'm afraid here I blame the reviewer, because although the writer should have made it more accessible to a global audience, it is the reviewers job to realise and say it is not.    Tris   08:57, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

I have now taken it off the lead for a story we have already had as until it's fixed, we shouldn't have it as one of our main articles. I would fix it, if I knew what sport it was and what it was about.    Tris   09:10, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

I agree, context is significantly lacking here. The word "basketball" (I assume that's what it is? I know next to nothing about sports) isn't even mentioned in the article body (only once in the sources). Tempodivalse [talk] 13:14, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Wow...I'm really sorry about this, guys. The sport was actually clear before I renamed it, but when I read the article again it just didn't "click in" that I needed to name te sport. Sorry again. Benny the mascot (talk) 13:34, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
