Talk:Coolum to host Grand Final of Tier 1 women's cricket final on Australia's Sunshine Coast

I was at the Coolum v Glasshouse game for the last hour and a half or so.

• Glasshouse were batting and were 2 out for 18 off 6 overs according to the scoreboard. I had missed the Coolum innings.
• Post match I was informed by a couple of the Coolum players that Caloundra had forfeited their semi final against Hinterland because they (Caloundra) hadn't prepared a pitch for the semi. They'd prepare pitches for the men's game the day before but not for the women's semi. Why? I don't know.
• Interview was done post match. Audio will be posted later and put in the article. A transcript should also be provided.
• I plan to be at the Grand Final next week for the entire game.
• MyCricket (the source at the bottom of the article) may take some time to update with the formal results. For example, It currently tells me the Coolum v Glasshouse game is in progress. All of the data for that game seems to be there as the game was live scored (data was input as the game was going).
• The batting scorecards read from left to right batter and how out, runs, balls faced, minutes batted, fours scored, and sixes scored. At the bottom are listed Extras (essentially penalty runs), and the team total (read as wickets lost / runs scored). In the bowling card it goes bowler, overs bowled, maidens bowled (overs where no runs are conceded), wickets taken, runs conceded, no balls, and wides.

Yeah. They were trying to push the singles and we were calculating it out there, what they needed, they needed about six an over to [get] their run right to get up. So we were concentrating on dot balls and just fielding really well.

Yeah. Just keeping them down to like two an over so. They bowled really really well. Full credits to Aussie. The wicket was magnificent and the boys helping him out watering that a lot, feeding it lots of water and it's looking magnificent out there.

I think, you know, we fielded really well. We've got a solid bowling line up. So I think we'll bring it to them. Absolutely. Yeah, hopefully we can hit a few more boundaries and get some more runs on the board because that'll be needed to defend their big score.
