Talk:Brazilian surfer wins world championship in Pichilemu, Chile

Latest comment: 12 years ago by Blood Red Sandman

{{editprotected}} The news story's lead paragraph is written wrong in relation to the title "Brazilian surfer wins world championship". It doesn't even mention the name of the Brazilian who won the surfing competition! Either change the title to something more appropriate like "World surf championship held in [x=place name]" or rewrite the first paragraph to indicate who won the championship, something like "Marcos Monteiro, a [x=adjective] Brazilian, won this year's [x=noun]."

After an article has been protected, it should no longer be edited on elements of content, sources, or other substance. It should be edited for non-content issues (such as spelling, typos, punctuation and so forth) on a case-by-case basis. Questions of grammar are prone to dispute, and should be implemented after consensus on the talk page.

I was present for the first few hours of the championship, and took some photographs. I couldn't get accreditation because I was too late, otherwise I could have got more information! Otherwise, this should be fine. アンパロ Io ti odio! 03:14, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
