- Yes, the portals are not maintained. The whole portal concept has not worked out well on en.wn, and every once in a while someone suggests deleting the portals entirely. There has been occasional talk of making the Makelead gadget even more elaborate so it can do portal lead updates at the same time as main-page lead updates, and writing special portal code so that leads will be removed from portals when they get too old, but thus far we lack sufficient software support. --Pi zero (talk) 19:31, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
