Who needs to sell it in the UK when you can watch it on the internet from anywhere in the world.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.226.224.140 (talkcontribs)

I, for one, am glad that there are sumptuary laws to regulate what we can and can't do. If people had the choice to watch a movie, just imagine the anarchy that would ensue! —70.48.153.116 (talk) 21:49, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think the BBFC should certainly reserve the right to reject films which are all violence and no plot. --92.29.21.46 (talk) 00:43, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dumb Move

edit

This is a dumb move for the UK film board. If it were released, I doubt anyone would have sought out the movie who was not already into sadism. Now, many people will illegally download the movie out of curiosity. Dumb, dumb move. -- Poe Joe (talk) 03:59, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

According to that logic we should legalize all drugs. 85.139.84.55 (talk) 21:48, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Uhm, we should legalize all drugs. 71.120.114.83 (talk) 06:07, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Firstly, I'd have no problem with that. Secondly, the analogy isn't relevant - are you claiming that making drugs illegal means that more people take drugs? It's unclear that this is true. But the act of banning a film can make it more likely that people will know about it, and try to see it, especially as these days it's easily downloadable. Oh Wow

edit

"Cooke also said that the film was different from other violent horrors due to its "minimal narrative or character development.""

WHOA-WHOA-WHOA, HOLD ON! There are violent horror movies with narrative and character development?! BWAHAHAHAHA, OH WOW, BEST LAUGH TODAY! 71.120.114.83 (talk) 06:07, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
