- Actually, I think this violence was more pro- vs. anti-Taliban. The Taliban's agenda is overall more socio-political than religious, and it's implied, at least in the Al Jazeera source that the mosque was providing aid to internally displaced persons from the Swat region. These people were probably anti-Taliban in orientation, so the terrorists took it upon themselves to murder them. 209.30.89.135 (talk) 09:50, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
