died within 3 days of developing fever?

This is unusual in the United States where most are kept aive on a ventilator for at least a week. Did not get a chance to look at the sources, is this explained anywhere? Did he die at home for example? if so, why was he not hospitalized?

(SYSTEM WILL LET ME REVIEW BEFORE PUBLISHING MY COMMENT)

xkcd tribute

There was a suggestion to mention the xkcd tribute: https://xkcd.com/2293

Unfortunately, the deadline for "significant" changes has passed, so I'm posting it here for posterity.

I think the GIF itself signifies what lies ahead in the future. Don't know if it was intended to be poetic, or not, but it is chilling yet extrapolation of the truth.

Life and death

Conway's life's work showed how butterfly effect can cause drastically different results. And the reason of his death was due to a snowball effect. Sigh.
